As a Key Account Manager, you are the most important contact person for our existing and future customers in the Food Ingredients sector with responsibility for the acquisition of new business and for customer relationship management.
Your expertise
- a completed commercial apprenticeship or university degree in a relevant field
- several years of experience in the food industry required
- experience with national and international quality requirements in the food sector, desirable
- Sales knowledge advantageous
- You enjoy contact with people and working in a team
- Strong customer focus, strong communication and negotiations skills
- Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken
- analytical and strategic thinking

Your tasks
- Development and implementation of an acquisition strategy to win new customers in Germany and Western Europe
- Building up your own customer base & systematically expanding the network
- with decision-makers at eye level
- Observation and analysis of the market to identify profitable projects
- Presentation of the company as well as presentation and active sales of our product range and services with responsibility for turnover
- Independent proposal preparation and CRM maintenance
- You recongnise trends and develop new solutions together with a team
- Attending trade fairs, international trade airs and support at trade fair appearances
- Proactive maintenance of business relationships (incl. customer visits)
